The pandemic had really changed our lives
A lot of dreams and plans were put behind
People lost their jobs and need to strive
Oh 2020, why you gotta be so unkind?
They say to survive this year is the only goal
To have a food on your table and roof over your head
Hugging loved ones is now unconventional
Friends & family are now uninvited
I wish that this soon will be over
No more deaths, hunger and mental breakdown
May families & couples who got separated be closer
To have a cup of coffee or have a chit chat in the uptown
